Description

They were killed for spreading the Christian religion in Kelikia at the beginning of the third century. Cosma and Damian were brothers and came from Arabia. They ran in medical art, visited people in villages and cities, treating them. Using the miracle of healing, they propagated the Christian faith, for which they were condemned, tortured and finally beheaded. Leontij and Anfin suffered and died with them. Their holiday is celebrated on July 1 and November 1.
